Private Medical physicians have been trained at the top educational institutes in the world.
Above all else, all our doctors value empathy as much evidence-based science and leading-edge tests and treatments. Each doctor believes medicine is a human profession and strives for a balance of emotional and intellectual intelligence.
Dr. Annette van der Hoeven attended Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons to earn her medical degree, and completed her primary care internal medicine residency at New York University.
She then spent 6 years on the faculty of Montefiore Hospital and Albert Einstein College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Her last 10 years were spent in private practice in Westchester County, where she refined her skills and was lauded multiple times as Best Doctor in Westchester. She will focus her attention on what she feels is the most important and rewarding part of practicing medicine: the doctor-patient relationship. Dr. van der Hoeven lives with her husband, children, and two dogs in Northern Westchester. In her spare time she enjoys reading, puzzles, gardening, hiking, and skiing.
