She completed a 6 year B.A./M.D. program then headed to the east coast for an internal medicine residency at Sinai Hospital, affiliated with Johns Hopkins. She completed an infectious disease fellowship with UCLA before establishing herself in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She helped establish and direct the Outpatient Antimicrobial Treatment Program at Cedars and has served on staff at the hospital for over two decades. She is a member of the American College of Physicians as well as Infectious Diseases Society of America and the Infectious Disease Association of California. Her primary focus now is preventive health with attention to lifestyle measures to keep the immune system well! In her spare time she enjoys hiking the Santa Monica Mountains with her husband and son and beloved dog, Reggie.
